3 AM Praying and Pondering

Woke up in the middle of the night thinking about this verse in Numbers 11:5 and this photo taken a while back and praying about it. It seems to me there is relevance today with this covid…with the world circumstances…is it food that is being talked about in this scripture or is it possibly an old way of our hearts drawn to unrest by historically being tired of what the Lord has given us to survive? Is God possibly giving us manna and we are saying, ” no, give us meat…give us onions, give us more than survival”. We clumsily want what we want….are we but complaining in the desert ? If we follow God and allow him to handle what he is having us go through “prayerfully” might we be more successful? Can we be a better society that learns something from the biblical Moses journey and apply it to our journey to the promised land??? Of course, this is all just my 3 am praying and pondering.

Numbers 11:5
If only we had meat to eat!
5 We remember the fish we used to eat in Egypt for nothing, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; 6 but now our strength is dried up, and there is nothing at all but this manna to look at.”
